Fields of application: The use of the working dogs is hunting, in disasters, police, narcotics detection or search and rescue work, for example, man trailing after avalanche accidents. Depending on the area of use, various requirements must be met, for example the physique, the nature, and the training. It also depends on the character and physical characteristics of the dog. The most important character traits should be willingness to learn, obedience almost everywhere. In addition, a dog should have/aspire to socialization as early as possible. A hunting dog must pass usability tests or similar tests to see if the dog is suitable as a hunting dog.
